I have been working through some of the exercises in this Progressive Drumming Essentials book by renowned drummer Aaron Edgar, who is the drummer for prog-metal band Third Ion and a regular columnist on Drumeo.com.
This book provides some really challenging, but fun grooves in odd time signatures, displacements, odd subdivisions and modulations. Aaron explains the challenges well.
