One-to-One Drum Lessons
Drum lessons are conducted at my fantastic teaching studio, just a few minutes drive from Todmorden town centre. High quality drum kits and equipment are used; there are always two drum kits available, so that the student can play, as well as see demonstrations of what is being taught.
A PA system is in place so that students can play along to music, where necessary. We even have tea & coffee facilities, so you can have a brew and a biscuit whilst you learn!
Learn on any kind of drum kit
If you have a drum kit, either acoustic or electronic at home, that's great. If not, don't worry, all you need to get started is a pair of drum sticks and a practice pad.
If you need advice on purchasing any kind of drumming equipment I am here to help.
Drum Lessons to suit any budget
Lessons are on a one-to-one basis and can be taken in half hour or one hour slots, or longer, if required.
How often you have lessons is completely up to you. As a guide, most students have either weekly or fortnightly lessons. You can tailor this to suit your needs and budget.
Flexible Teaching Arrangements
On request, I can also undertake home visits to support students beyond their drum lessons.
This can be especially useful for things like helping our students with setting up drum kits, or for tuning their own drums.
